(Uncaria tomentosa willd.)

This herb was introduced in the Western medicine as a result of an ethnopharmacological research of the medicinal practices and habits of the Indian Ashaninka tribe. The tribesmen called the herb "samento". Cat's Claw is considered to be a well-researched plant. You can get adequate information about the herb from the book "PDR for Herbal Medicines".
